Dirk Oevermann is appointed member of Euler Hermes’ Board of Management, in charge of Operations and IT

The Euler Hermes Group Supervisory Board appointed Dirk Oevermann a member of the Board of Management of the Euler Hermes Group as of 1st February 2010. Dirk Oevermann will be in charge of Operations and IT. (Paris, 03.12.2009)

Dirk Oevermann brings considerable experience in IT in the financial services industry. Since August 2006 he has been serving as member of the Executive Board of IDS Scheer AG, in charge of Europe, Middle East and Asia and he has led the international consulting business.

After holding various management positions at well-known software companies in the financial services industry, Dirk Oevermann joined IDS Scheer in 2003 as the manager of the consulting unit for banking. In 2005 he was named a managing director of IDS Scheer Germany, where he was responsible for consulting business in Germany. Dirk Oevermann, a German citizen, holds a doctorate in business administration.

IDS Scheer is the market leader in Business Process Management (BPM) software, solutions and services for corporations and public organizations worldwide.

Dirk Oevermann succeeds Michael Hörr, who successfully launched the Operations function at Euler Hermes prior deciding to return to Allianz France (formerly AGF).
